Elevating Equity and Justice – Reviewed Dec 2023
The Knowledge Gap – Reviewed Dec 2023

I read A LOT. I also listen to a lot of books. I used to be really good at keeping track of my progress, but found that if I did so, I was constantly using social media, and I purposely limit my social media use. So, don’t ask me how many books I read in a year, but if I had to guess, I usually read 1-2 books per week.

I don’t believe any time spent reading is wasted time – even if you didn’t like the book. We can learn something from every experience, if we only consciously cultivate the habit of doing so!

I will pick up just about anything to read, but I’m partial to reading or listening to the Young Adult books I know my students are reading, books of any level that are in a genre this year’s kids seem to enjoy, books about personal and professional development, philosophy books, books with beautiful author’s craft, and stories that my brain just find fascinating for some odd reason.
